It was a long week for my family. My grandpa unfortunately passed away but on the bright side I know he is up in heaven healed and happy! My sister and her husband had arrived at my house Wednesday evening for a family visit. We had plans made for the beach, a cruise, and a visit to an alligator farm. We quickly changed our schedule though the next morning when we got a call from our mom telling us the state of her dad. We booked tickets back home to Minnesota and were on a plane three hours later hoping to be able to say goodbye before he passed. It was a long 7 hours of travel but we were able to make it to the hospital that evening at 11 p.m.. My grandpa was unable to talk but he would move his head showing us his good ear letting us know that he was listening.
He survived the night and by the grace of God we were able to move him back home with hospice. He died Friday at 7:40 p.m. peacefully with his whole family surrounding him. I am so proud to have had him as my grandfather. He taught me about saving money, working hard, and the importance of family. We are now in North Dakota preparing for a family service and spending time with family. Looking forward to seeing distant relatives and celebrating the life of such a wonderful grandpa.

Here is everything I bought during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year! I got so many fun fall staples to create so many cute and fun outfits for the coming season. This cute yellow corduroy shacket is almost sold out but still available in a few sizes! Has an oversized fit, I’m wearing a size small! I love this split neck cropped long sleeve by B.P.! I wish I would have got it in multiple different colors. It’s only $25 and true to size. I’m wearing a size small.
My Spanx Leather Leggings have an amazing fit and are so comfy! I’m wearing a size small and they are under $100! My brown boots are amazing quality and come in the color black as well. They are true to size and available in all sizes! Lastly my cream Sherpa slippers from Minnetonka are my go to shoes around the house. They are so comfy and have a thick sole for walking outdoors. They are beautiful and very warm!

I was so excited when I found these cute Gym Shark Workout Leggings at a thrift store for only $6! They are so flattering and comfy to work out in! Originally $55! I’m wearing a size Small. Working out if white makes me feel like a badass, so this New Balance sports bra was an easy purchase for me. I’m wearing a size small, $30 + free shipping! I’m also liking several different Nike Sneakers below that are Buy One Get One 50% off plus they are already all on sale!!
Working out it all black brings power and makes us all feel like ninjas! I love this high neck sports bra from Zella and it’s so comfy, only $35! $7 Bike Shorts from Target are so comfy and a closet staple. I’ve had these all summer and I’m in a size small. My black New Balance sneakers are actually my work shoes. I wear these all day and they are truly comfortable and match everything! Along with my black Adidas running hat, it will go well with any casual outfit or working out!
