In the heat of a prayer, it can be easy to forget all the prayer requests listed at church or the needs of family and friends. And it’s easy to get stuck on the bad and forget about the blessings to pray for too.

A Prayer Board is important in my faith life because it helps me to visually remember to pray, keep track of prayer requests, and reminds me to reach out to those I am praying for.

My Prayer Board also is fun and pretty which helps me to notice it and enjoy the process. I used a few simple items to put together my board which made it easy and fast.

What you need:

How to make it:

To make the board, we are going to start by outlining the paper to the inside of the cork board. Cut your outline of the paper and staple it on to the cork board.

Next, assemble your words and align them out how you want them. When you are confident you can stick them on. And it’s that simple your board is made.

Now let’s add some prayers. I bought bigger chalk paper and cut them into squares. Than, I used my chalk marker to write my prayers on them and tacked them on. The chalk marker makes it much easier to write rather than using regular chalk. I like the chalk paper because I can reuse it over and over again!

Where to put it:

Hang your pray board somewhere you will see it everyday and possibly several times a day. I hang mine in my closet. I see it then when I wake up and when I go to bed and several times throughout the day as I am always switching outfits. You could also hang it in an entry way, your office. or the kitchen.

I hope you enjoyed making your Prayer Board. You can make a vision board, goal board, or any other board using the same concept!
