Fall is my favorite season. The weather wakes something up inside of me. I feel like there are more things to do: hiking, festivals, decorating, campfires, breweries, apple orchard, pumpkin patches, fairs, football games, and on and on.

Summer might offer all of these things as well but it must be the cool air and the fall foliage that makes all these activities so much better. Not to mention all the cute outfits we get to wear when we are out on all these ventures.

Some of the best things about fall are the clothes that we are able to wear now. Such as scarves, sweaters, booties, beanies, ect. And lets not forget we can now wear jeans and not be uncomfortable in the heat. Coffee in hand, hair down, and a smile on our faces because autumn is here.

Family Photos

I love this scarf. It has beautiful fall colors for family photos. It is easy to pair with. Everyone can wear jeans and either a black, red, or tan shirt. Take the picture outside on a trail, on the road, or in a field and it will look great for your next Christmas card.

Buy the scarf here. These boots I bought at Walmart and were an easy purchase. They were under $15 and I love them! Order them online here.

hiking

Hiking is my favorite activity in the fall. The leaves are turning and I’m not sweating like a pig when we are walking. I also like the outfit combinations to hike in.

I like to hike in a pair of comfy jeggings because they are appealing to the eye and they have some stretch for hiking. I also wear a soft t-shirt from Aeropostale. My jeans are from here too.

One simply can’t go hiking in anything but a flannel. This exact one is a few years old from Walmart. My hiking boots are from Cabela’s. They are heavy duty and are for hiking rather than fashion.

Festival/Fair

Jeans and a cute fall long sleeve is a attractive but comfortable favorite for the fall. Festivals can be long and an active day. This convenient outfit is a friendly option.

Dress it up to fit the autumn season more by adding booties and a hat. These Steve Madden booties are my go to fall shoes since they go with everything. My black booties are from Walmart and are right at $15. Also find them here from Amazon for a little more money.

This hat is from Amazon and can be found in multiple different colors. It is under $20 and is a good quality hat. I love it and could pair it with every outfit. Try buying it in either the light or dark camel color for fall.

Football

As fall sneaks in and late night football games come up, finding the perfect outfit to cheer on the team, look attractive, and stay warm is important. I always go with a school colored shirt with a vest to stay warm.

Dark jeans are always slimming and weather proof. Finish with a pair of cute winter boots and you are ready to cheer on. I also like these headbands to top off a great outfit.

Pumpkin Patches & Apple Orchards

Fall is one of those tricky seasons where it is cold in the morning and hot in the afternoon. I love pairing a skirt with a sweater to make a cooler fall style outfit.

I have always wanted knee high boots but didn’t want to spend the money. I found these black suede knee high boots at Walmart for $20. I also picked them up in a tan suede color. This hat was my favorite fall find for under $20. It comes in multiple different colors and styles and is a must have for your fall closet. Find it here.

Wedding

Fall weddings are my favorite but it can always be tricky to find an outfit to wear. I mean we all have lots of spring and summer dresses but what is a fall dress. Well, you don’t need to buy a “fall” dress.

Turn a spring and summer dress in to a fall dress by adding a sweater or a poncho over it. Add thigh high knee boots and a hat to make a dress or a romper more fitting for the season. Find this hat for under $20 and in multiple colors. Also these Steve Madden boots go with everything!

Until next time…
