Fall is my favorite season! I love the cooler weather, the changing of the leaves, and the feeling of getting back on a routine. I love the colors that fall has to offer and the opportunities it gives to wear all kinds of clothes. Fall also gives us pumpkin patches, apple orchards, and beautiful fall foliage as back drops to IG photos.
I am so excited about this fall. This is the first time I feel like I am head on the trends. Having just graduated college, I am out of my bubble and in to the world. I am seeing what others are wearing and I am able to invest in my looks… well invest in a couple new things for my wardrobe.
Everything that is in this fall, I am in love with! Animal print is back. The color brown is in. Outdoor gear is all the rage. And layering is a style that will help you stay warm all season long. I cannot get more excited about this season.

2019 Fall Fashion trends
1. Animal Print
Animal print anything is all the rage right now. And guess what? We are all loving it! Animal print is sexy. It brings texture to our outfits and is an eye catching attire every time.
What I am also loving about animal print, is that we can find it on everything. Purses, rompers, dresses, earrings, pants, and even the cutest pair of boots. It is crazy how fast a trend can spread and this one is taking off.
Cheetah print and snake skin are two of the most popular that I am seeing. If you couldn’t tell but those are the two that I am in love with. I dream about the snake skin shoes. Oh, and being out in a cheetah print dress will have everyone feeling all kinds of pretty.
2. Brown
The color brown is in. And frankly I think everyone is in love with this trend. Everyone has brown. Brown is not a new color. This is one trend that everyone can be apart of.
I know this sounds boring, but does it really? I think this color will look awesome on everyone. Also when you are planning family photo shoots and IG pictures brown would be perfect color to pick. You can find something that will work for everyone. It will be the perfect color in a season when there are so many different colors surrounding us.
I also find the color brown to be warm and inviting. Brown is easy on the eyes. It is safe. It can also bring so many different clothes together.
Brown booties are among everyone’s favorites, and why? Because they go with everything! There are so many different styles that how can anyone not own a pair or two. And when the weather starts to change wrap up in long tan coat or a cute sweater.
3. Bold Colors
There is always one trend that I have to take a step back before I jump on to the train. If you want to stand out this is the trend to follow. This can be super fun to dress up for.
So what is the the bold color look exactly? It is wearing all the same color. I personally like the look of purple pants with a purple shirt and a bold blue sweater over it. But I am also a big fan of yellow… although I can’t exactly pull it off I can admire off of other people.
This can be fun and daring if you are looking to try something new. Or if you like to take risks and shock people this would be one that is easy and can be styled in so many different ways.
Another reason why I am a fan of this trend is because you could possibly style this look from your closet already depending on your depth of clothes. It is also something that would be incredible fun to go thrift store shopping for. Because you aren’t looking for a specific item or print, it is easy to find bold bright clothes in all sorts of colors and in all sorts of clothing types.
4. Outdoor Gear
Rain jackets, flannels, and hiking boots, these were once things in our closet you would pull out for that camping trip you take once a year. Now we can’t scroll through IG or walk down the aisle with out finding someone sporting this trend.
This trend is comfy and versatile. If you are in to the outdoors this could be easy for you to conjure an outfit or a great excuse to invest money in to both your hobby and your wardrobe.
This trend can look good being modeled anywhere. It is a more casual look but it fits with the season. Fall offers some great locations for travel and afternoon visit. With the moody weather and the dying plants, hiking gear fits the mold. And personally I kind of like it.
5. Layering
Layering. This is one that can add up to any look you want. You can be bold and beautiful or you can be grungy and gorgeous. Incorporate all of the previous trends in to this one.
A common example of this trend is a white shirt with a flannel over it and than a jean jacket over the flannel. There is also the long sleeve shirt with the cardigan and a long trench coat over that.
